What song can't you get out of your head, and why?

This is a bit like the What song are you listening to now thread, except you have no conscious choice in the matter, and there's a bit of self analysis (much needed for most of youse...).

    I'll kick this megathread rolling:

    I hate this fukin song!

Why is it playing in my head? Not, sure, but its appearance in me head corresponded with the wife going back to Thailand about a week ago. Which kinda connects, but I don't like the missus much, so it must be something else? I'm guessing the video's homo-erotica saying to me: the wife's away, so get down those gay clubs and listen to some cliched 80s music!
    Cycling should be banned!!!

There's a regular 'earworm' slot on Mark Radcliffe's 6music show, which is really great but I often think that they're not really earworms, but just random tunes that people want played.. a real earworm is the melody or riff that repeats over and over driving you slightly bonkers with its unsolicited presence in your head... like the intro to 'Son of Mustang Ford' I woke up with this morning, not the whole song, just the intro, which is a rather convenient earworm for you as you only have to listen to the first 20 seconds of the video.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

I didn't know that. This is now officially: the Earthworm Thread.

BTW, that Earthworm would require psychiatric help! &, bad poster, you didn't analyse your Earthworm...

I watched a movie a couple of days ago which included this song I'm currently stuck with.

    Damn it! The stalker song.

If I have to listen to the Police in my head, it could have been Roxanne, but no....

You bastards, I just had to read through this thread to see if there were any ear fucks that I had eventually blanked out!

Now I'm clearing my mind and meditating with some bottles of wine so the music people don't get back into my head again.

My crazy Chinese ex-GF had a 5 year old daughter and I made the mistake of agreeing to download that video for her.

I then had to sit through it a total of 874 times.

5 year old girls have absolutely zero capacity for boredom with this kind of stuff.

The other movie that we watched 874 times was this. It is not an earworm but that just reminded me of it.

The only way to escape from the loop was if her mum said dinner was ready or something.
