X-files returns to TV for six-part series


THE X-Files is coming back to TV with original stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson set to reprise their roles as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
The pair spent nine years - and more than 200 episodes and two feature films - as the agents investigating paranormal cases and unsolved mysteries.
Six episodes of the hugely popular science-fiction show will be made with its creator Chris Carter at the helm.
"I think of it as a 13-year commercial break," Carter said.
"The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories."
The show made stars of both its main actors with Duchovny going on to star in Californication, while Anderson settled in London and became a regular on the West End stage and in UK television with roles in the BBC version of Bleak House and the crime drama The Fall.

Much of the X-files series was shot right in my neighbourhood. Used to see Scully Molder and their crews coming and going quite often, and on one occasion met Scully having coffee in the little coffee shop right on the ground floor of my apartment building. They often used parts of a big old police station just down the road for inside shooting. I was never that fond of the series from much of the same reason Koojo mentioned.

I did get myself one of the big Mag-lites they were always waving around while hunting para=normal shit in spooky places.....still have it. so if any para=normal shit shows up here. I'm good to go.

I watched but only enjoyed 2 episodes.
