Kayaking in Phuket

I was paddling out to Koh Bon, 2 kilometers south of Rawai a few months ago.
It was a fine day in March, the weather was good and the island was beautiful. I took many photo's on this tour and posted them on this photo-blog.
If anyone is interested, here it is:


Paddling in Phuket

I paddled out to Koh Kaew Yai the next day. From Rawai it's a 4 km. paddle out to this island. Koh Kaew Yai have a nice beach and a Buddha-statue. Legend says it's the place that the Buddha first set foot before he was heading for Rawai in Phuket.
The sea was calm when I started from Rawai, but swell and a tidal current became a big problem when I approached Koh Kaew Yai.
