Gyms in Bang Saen??

Hi there

Does anyone know of any gyms in the Bang Saen area with a decent free weights set up with bench press and squat facilities etc??

Or can anyone advise of any gyms at all in the Bang Saen area??

Finally, is there a Muay Thai gym in Bang Saen?

Check with the city and see if they have a government owned gym. When I lived in Sriracha, I was considering going to Patters for a gym, which would have been a lot of travel time. My girl at the time located a gym run by the city. At the time it was 300 baht a month and had most of your basic free weights and some machines. They did not turn the air on for the 1st part of the day - that sucked, but I was able to work up a good sweat.

Thanks for the advice chitown. I managed to find a gym just outside Bang Saen. Not the best gym in the world, but managed to get a decent workout.

there is a good fitness just on the bangsaen main street : Similan Fitness, just between the 7eleven and the bangsaen steak house. 193 long had bangsaen street

^yes, this gym and the apartments are owned by the parents of one of my students - they also own the fitness dome which is another excellent gym just up the road - past Burapha university and Lampan department store (turn right after the department store and its 1 min walk on the left!)

Both very good gyms.

You can also go to fitness first in Central Plaza (Chonburi) but expect to be raped over the price.

Do all you blokes still hang out at Rocky's place?
