    Will Keane Succeed at Sunderland?

An interesting character to be sure, but does he have what it takes to manage others - No doubt he'll be okay at dishing out a telling-off, but how about putting an arm around the shoulder and encouraging? Personally I hope he does succeed - I'd love to see him in the premiership up against Mourhino and the other superstars.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!

Yes. And he will succeed at Man U in a couple of years too.

^Confidence there cantona....I think the test will be when he has to handle a losing streak - Will he be able to inspire everyone in the team to greater efforts....or will he just beat everyone up.

Alex Ferguson was never liked on, or off the pitch, however he at least has some brains.

It's possible Keane could be a great manager.

Now Roy Keane appears to be all alone in the dressing room.

You know, I suspect that this would not stop him from having a furious argument.

If I was a Sunderland player, I would be shitein it - and somehow I think calling in sick for training wouldn't be acceptable either. Keano would be round your house faster than a tanked-up truant officer, dragging you back to the ground by the scruff of the neck with one hand, and repeatedly lamping you with the other.

I expect the Sunderland players to improve purely and simply due to fear. And some of them will play better with a closed-up black eye than they did with perfect health...

He'll fail cos he's gone to manage a bunch of useless pricks.

Love to see a celebrity death match between him and Shearer. Finish off what was started way back at St James.

Keane flapping and wind-millling like a raging psycho, Shearer side-stepping with hands down the side and a smirk on his face, then whack...lay the cnut out with one haymaker.

Some funny shit in this post.

I think Keane will be a great boss. He has done an incredible job thus far and I reckon he has everything it takes to be a top manager.

With Keane and Big Niall at Sunderland, who knows, they may even stay up next season.

My cash would be on Keane, he was a decent boxer when he was a lad.

^Mine too. I can't imagine Keane ever giving up - he'd be like that knight in Monty Python's Holy Grail.

    ^hehe

The 'Championship' doesn't get that much coverage on terrestrial tele the UK - I look forward to seeing Roy strutting his stuff in the Premiership.

I don't think they'll be starting favourites to go down.
