    Lek Hotel

Hi, It's been months since I logged on due to pressure of work etc: i remember someone mentioning the Lek Hotel in Pattaya as a good spot for breakfast. i plan to be in Pattaya soon and wondered if it's much good for staying in. Has anyone stayed there? What are the besr rooms? Would appreciate your help.

sorry i dunno abt that one - but i've always found the welcome plaza hotel on second road to be quite reasonable..

about 700baht - large clean room air etc breakfast (tho i've never eaten it due to sleep requirements) decent swimming pool. parking.

I've been Welcome Plaza Hotel once, it looks pretty nice so far. Too bad, I didn't have a chance to stay there.

If you like greasy western food, buffet style, the Lek is a good option.

Thanks for that link DD. Makes me hungry looling at it. I think I'll try the Lek Hotel for a few nights and see what happens. Someone mentioned that there is a new wing. I'll try that. thanks for helping.

I'm banned from here for kicking up a huge stink in reception when they correctly charged me an extra 500 Baht for oversleeping past my check out time.

Had its heyday about ten years ago though.

I've now booked the Lek Hotel for a few nights in July. I'll be the fat one with an ugly soi 6/7 companion, eating greasy food at the pool every morning. You're all invited to watch!! At the pool, that is.
