Ok, so I got a new job, and I will be in Thailand more now. My previous job was on a rotation 120 days work and 16 days off (In Iraq and MEGA bullshit) and I never worried about visas or anything cause I was never in the kingdom enough.
Now I'm on a rotation of 60 on and 30 off and I just want to double-check that I understand the Visa Rules/Laws.
Here are the dates that are stamped into my passport. I'm American btw...
Admitted: 3 August 2007 for 30 days
Departed: 16 August 2007
Admitted: 18 November 2007 for 30 days
Departed: 8 December 2007
Admitted: 6 March 2008 for 30 days
Departed: 26 March 2008
Admitted: 1 July 2008 for 30 days
Departed: 17 July 2008
Admitted: 6 November 2008 for 30 days
Departed: 3 December 2008
Anyway I had to get a new Passport in early 2007 cause mine got stolen. I lost all the dates, but its along the same schedule.
So, I can do 30 days at a time with the Visa on Arrival 30 day stamp, but I have to leave the country and come back in to get another 30 days. I can do this 3 times in a row, then I have to be out of the country for 90 days. Correct?
So if I just work for 60 days, then come in on the 30 day stamp, Im good right? With the Current Rules I can do this indefinately, correct? And in the future, if I can get on a 30/30 rotation, this will be ok also, and I dont really need to worry about visas (if the laws dont change )
Im understanding this correctly?
