Every Songkran in the small rice/fishing village that I go to always has Thai boxing in the evening. This is basically a boxing circuit that travels around Thailand for the fighters to win big and hopefully make a name for themselves. These little guys are tough.
With the trainers in the corner. I am glad that is not me laying on the mat.
The action is still strong. Now for the big Thai fighters.
In the clinch. The count begins.
Another countdown. Getting ready for the big fight.
The audience is always lively. One can often see more fights outside the ring. Another fight coming up.
The action begins. Getting encourgement!
Struggling to his feet. In the other corner.
Behind the scenes. This guy in the white shirt is the main organizer. Notice the bottles of whiskey on the table. And who sits at these tables? The announcer, the timekeeper and the guy that plays the squeaky music between the rounds. Finally, one of the 3 judges that sits at ringside.
Did you have a flutter HB?
