Suan Siam Water Park Photos and Review

Last week I took the family to Suan Siam Water Park. I have a mixed review of the place and I want to share my rants and raves about the park with you. I have over a 100 photos to sort out, so it may take some time to complete the thread.

We had an enjoyable time at the park for the cost. There are water rides as well as "carnival" style rides at the park. It was only 200 baht per person for the water park, but you have to pay more for the "carnival" style rides. There is no double pricing and I paid the same as the Thais.

The kids really enjoyed the water slides. I did too, but let me advise you men to keep your legs together when you get to the end of the slide. It is quite painful to the sack to hit the pool of water at the bottom at a high rate of speed.

There is also a "lazy river" that flows through this area of the park. The current is slow moving, but you do notice it when you try to swim upsteam!

I felt like Will Smith in the I am Legend Movie, because when we first go to the park,we were the only ones there. There were a few zombie like workers moving slowly around the park!!

The best time to go is in the middle of the week.You can avoid all of the muppets!!

The place is full of palm trees and at first glance seems to be paradise.

There are several fun things for the little ones to enjoy.

The big pool is like an ocean to the kids!!

The downside to all of this is that there were several things at the park that need attention.

The water was quite dirty.

Bare electric wires everywhere. For me,this does not mix with water!!

The toilets and showers were filthy.......

They need to throw some paint around the whole place.......

It is always fun to find spelling mistakes in Thai signs......

Yup, not too bad there. Nice report. I've been once before but just sat drinking beer all day whilst everyone else ran around having fun.

I'd of thought you'd get stuck on the water slides with those muscles on yer back

I went once about 20 years ago. It was dual pricing then, so at least something has changed.
