Not a bad place as it goes, i was there for 3 beers before dinner. Ok there wasnt much in the way of talent but as I was with there a female companion anyway that didnt really matter much.
The lady running the place was nice to talk to anyway and it didnt have incedibly loud music blaring out the Black Eyed Peas or some such crap.

No sign of luckydog though.

Oh well bedtime now. Work at Sriracha in the morning and the day after. Just as well. Seems everything closes for the Kings birthday. It's my sons birthday too by the way.

back on dry land now. decided to try the Hard Rock hotel because the Montien Hotel was a bit shite and expensive.

Hard Rock hotel is tacky and expensive, but at least the internet seems to work here (touch wood)

I recommend you give the Hard Rock Cafe a miss though SBF.
Totally overpriced, lukewarm beer and indifferent, almost sullen service when i was there. They don't even supply beer condoms, and a Heiny will set you back over 200 Bht.
Contrast that to Janes Bar in Soi New Plaza- ice cold beer, served with a beer condom and prompt service for 45 Bht. The burgers are better in Bobs BBQ, Soi LK Metro anyway, and much, much cheaper.

Shit, the beer I just drank from the minibar cost 140 baht. My next mission is to go to 7-11 to find a can of Singha with a 'Thailand Open' advertisement on it so I can replace the one from my fridge.

I find shopping at Woolworths quite nice too. Especially the pick n mix sweeties.
