At the Baiyoke Hotel, the top floor lunch buffet costs THB 720 if you're a foreigner, THB 340 if you are Thai.
However, if you're foreign and you go with a Thai, then they will charge you both the Thai price.
A bargain at twice the price !

Wouldn't 360 baht be half price or is the buffet for nasty evil foreigners 680baht?
The clowns are a hoot.
Can I bring my own sandwiches?
I had lunch there once and it was fooking shite, it was over 5 years ago though so hopefully things have improved.
^Its got a lot better since then.
don't know about lunch but for dinner it shares with dusit resort as worst 'class' buffet...something like 650-700 each, excellent food but stunningly poor selection.
If u bring a thai they charge you 340bht each? Hmmm my experience they normally charge you both the farang price. (never been to this restaurant) I guess they didnt think this one out?
I go there for the view with visiting friends, not the food.
The clowns, the clowns I tell ye!
^^^ may be for lunch but six went with six thais to dusit for dinner buffet and guess what, all were charged a straight 650-700 per head.
I wouldn't know what they charge, I go to places I know to serve quality inexpensive food when I am the one inviting.
Judging by the amount of food some of these fat fcuking farangs must eat to remain so big, I'm beginning to see the reasoning.Originally Posted by The_Ghost_Of_The_Moog

But those spoilt farang friends of mine usually insist on something more upmarket.
Now Now, we don't want this to turn into an American bashing thread, it's not their fault, it's thyroid gland problems that make them eat 10 kilos of burgers perdayOriginally Posted by Spin
