Navy Soldier detained after traffic incident in South Pattaya.
An interesting case now relating to the Grand Opening Night of a new discotheque at the Bali Hai Plaza located in front of the Bali Hai Port at the south end of Pattaya Beach. Petty Officer First Class Anoosak aged 40, who is stationed at the Sattahip Navy Base decided to attend the Grand Opening of “Mixx Nightlife” and spoke with Management and suggested that they should employ him as a security guard. He was told that there were currently no positions available which caused the Navy Soldier to “see red”. He was seen to speed off in his maroon Isuzu Pick-up. Traffic Police Officers noticed him driving erratically in the South Pattaya area and the angry soldier was then seen to suddenly stop his pick-up in the middle of the busy South Pattaya Intersection with Pattaya Third Road. With no regard for other motorists who were forced to navigate around the badly parked vehicle, he was then seen to enter a restaurant where he sat down as if nothing had happened. Police Officers located the man and took him back to his vehicle so it could be parked on the side of the road. Military Police from Sattahip were called in to assist in dealing with the Soldier. The man tested negative for the presence of alcohol in his system and it was decided to hand the man over to the Military Police who will discipline Khun Anoosak as they see fit.
