Animals you have killed in Thailand

This thread is dedicated to all the animals we have killed, mutilated, destroyed and generaly bashed to death here in the land of smiles and nasty poisonous bstard vicious creatures, this thread would be absolutely brilliant if samwan was still here as most weeks he had to bash to death various nasty beastys, from cobras to scorpians.

Anyway to start this thread off here is a picture of something xzyte killed a couple of days ago in his garden, I might add that quite often he and his family walk round bare foot in their garden, not anymore i reckon

anyway what horrid nasty poisonous beasts have you bashed to death in the land of smiles?

Few enough. I've had to dig a few bird corpses out of my grillwork (sorry, I forgot to take pictures), but I've successfully dodged around all the dogs, cats, snakes, and really big lizards (well, lizard) that have crossed my path to date.

A couple of mozzy's, lots of moths, I ran over a toad the other week.

I am too scared to go into my garden though so I don't know what is out there .

killed a cobra which was slithering with menace towards my puppies when they were ever so small and defenceless. At the time i didn't have a camera with which to prove it.
Killed it by repeated bashery on the fuckers head.
It took quite a long time to pass off this mortal coil.

There is a rottweiler living 3 doors away from me that I would love to kill. It bit my puppy leading to stitches in the poor things face.

I think that's a sensory experience that I'll pass on thanks. I hope you were not planning to post the photographs.

It might be an idea for a new thread though. "What strange creatures have you tried on your nuts?"

That will be due to the snake incident I would say. In your dream, did it hiss at you and did you bash it repeatedly?

Just don't pick it up and try and write with it. Tis a Stick lnsect not a Praying Mantis.

Since moving out of Bkk we have hit one dog on the highway. lt had already been hit in the hind legs, and could not move. The car in front of us swerved around it, but my car is a big wagon and does not take kindly to abrupt lane changes, more importantly l thought it would be better to put the animal out of it's obvious misery, as quickly as possible, so l made no attempt tp avoid the poor buggar. Luckily it was at night and all over in a split second.

Since then my gf and l have gone on to collect an array of stray dogs around our home town. We now have 20 dogs / pups in assorted shapes / sizes / ages and are currently looking for a bigger place to move to in order to give them some space to exercise in.

Along the way we have lost 4 pups to Parvo, because the clinic in Rayong was too slow to pick it up and begin treatment, 2 more to distemper for the same reason ( even though l took one pup to the vet 4 weeks running before he acted, it died the next day ) 2 more from dehydration caused by ticks / fleas because my gf was too slow to act, another one from distemper as well l think, and finally one that was hit by a motorcycle in our soi that was going way too fast.

So that is 10 we have lost in the space of a single year. Not a great batting average l know, but we hope things will soon change for the better. There is an English guy just out of town here ( Ban Phe ) who has twice as many dogs as we do, and has probably lost about as many as we have.

BTW - if anyone would like a little poodle cross, brown or black, male or female, please PM me, they should be ready to be picked up at the end of the month and we will make sure they have their first set if shots before we give them away. Cheers, for new years, Bwana Brad.

It is a praying mantis, but I believe they are of the stick insect genre.

You are one sad bastard dreaming about the forum.

Its ever since you saw my massive family home that you are dreaming about shacking up with me and walking around the gardens in the summer evenings hand in hand.

    YOU SAD BASTARD.

The gun shop in Chonburi, they do like you to have a license first though for some reason, although it's cheaper to buy an illegal gun which of course would be totaly illegal and is something we would not condone, but as in most countries in the world they are easier to obtain than a legal one and a hell of a lot cheaper.
