Little Home Bakery have about six outlets scattered around Bangkok, you'll find a branch in the most unexpected location. I last risked a sandwich here a few months ago and it was terrible...
Anyway, I was in Sathorn today and fancied a nostalgic lunch at the Little Home Bakery by the Chong Nonsi BTS, but after entering the doors and seeing nobody there at all, I was a bit reluctant...
They have several locations about town and I believe the HQ is on Thong Lor 10. I also used to eat at the Silom branch until they seved me a fish still frozen in the middle.
I must also say that the BTS are really letting their standards slip...
And now Thaksin allows soi dogs to use his phone network...
Shame really...
I managed to grab some pics of the menu before I was jostled out the doors....
Looks nice enough, I used to prefer their larger, A3 sized menu.
I was really looking forward to a nostalgic waffles breakfast or steak dinner but the air smelt of old unwashed kitchens and stale bleach, much like a Little Chef outlet in the UK.
I forsee a Starbucks opening at this location shortly...Empty areas like this are not good for business.
There were even more people interested in the alternative food offered nearby:
Anyone remember the "good old days" of this fast-going-down-the-pan outlet?
