Thumbs up BRANDS Essence Of Chicken

Seen the little green boxes in 7-Eleven for years now, thought I'd give one a try. Nice aren't they! Fans of Bovril won't be dissapointed.

I also hear they are very very good for your health.

They do several 'health tonics' including ginseng and bird's nest. Pretty good for you, apparently. Have tried both the ginseng and the bird's nest but could not afford to drink them on a regular basis, with the bird's nest running at around 200 baht a pop.

The real stuff is ment to be hardened saliva of the swiftlet swallow..very expensive and certainly not mass produced like the shite you buy here.

I wonder what part of the chicken becomes the "essence."

I went through a phase of using these for a while.
Being feeling nackered lately, maybe the result of to much beer, gin and lack of exercise apart the the wife exercising me. May start it up again to see if it helps.

I liked those essence zaps, but I thought they were only about Bt30? Easy to drink, good energy after.

I've heard that there isn't actually any chicken in Brands Essence. It's all artificial flavouring.
Tonic drink? You can't beat an M-150.

    ^ You sure about that?

M-150 is to Energy drinks what Chang is to beer.

No, not certain, but, I seem to remember reading about it a few years ago. Could be wrong though. Never touch it myself.

    Sounds about right.

Tho' a gf used to call it Lipo (the M150 that is)

I called it "wake up juice" because she couldn't wake up without one.
