Tourist nearly drowns on Larn Island.
With high season upon us, tourist safety on the beaches of Pattaya and surrounding Islands is of prime concern. We went to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital after medical staff admitted a foreign man who nearly drowned on Larn Island. He was spending the day with his Thai girlfriend, Khun Loongnapa who explained to us that the pair had spent the day eating and drinking on the beach when the man known only as Alan went for a swim and got into difficulties. Luckily he was spotted by other swimmers and was retrieved from the water in an unconscious state. He was revived and taken to Pattaya by speed boat. We understand he is expected to fully recover.

Wonder what his age was? Perhaps another drunken 40-ish man thinking like an 18-year-old. Personally, I like to think of myself as a young 20-ish type of person.

Anyway, this person should consider himself very lucky!
