Accor and ECPAT are organising the 4th charity walk rally in Bangkok's Lumpini Park on Sunday April 22 as part of Accor's global effort for Earth Day 2007 focussing on sustainable development for future generations.
This year up to 1,000 people are expected to attend the Walk for Children 2007. The organisers aim to double the amount of donations from that of the 2005 event, which attracted over 500 participants and raised over 250,000 baht for a worthy cause. The Walk for Children 2007 will start at 9am at Lumpini Park and is open to the public. Tickets, priced at 500 baht for adults and 250 baht for children under 12, are available at all Accor-managed hotels in Bangkok. The ticket covers registration fee to the event, entitles you to a commemorative T-shirt and a chance to win one of the many exciting prizes.
