    Your Favourite Place in Thailand

Unfortunately I'm not really well travelled in Thailand, I've been around a few places, but there's a lot more I'd like to do.

So, I was wondering where other people had been that was in some way special and why it was their favourite place.

I can't think of mine at the moment, so someone else will have to get the ball rolling - I will then jump on the bandwagon and claim I started it.

As long as I've been here - 4 years - I have yet to visit southern Thailand. While we live in BKK the wife is from Loei, so we tend to hang around there. Done a lot of camping in that area. One of the quaintest and prettiest villages I've been in has been Lom Sak, just north of Petchabun. Beautiful country! I prefer mountains over beaches.

    Lom sak is lovely.
my personal favourite place though is ChiangDao about 75 km north of Chiangmai.

If you ever get up there, be sure to stay at the Chiand dao nest.
i believe they have a sponsored ad in the living in Thailand section.

Chiang Dao is magic, I agree. It's pretty amazing that as you drive along from Chiang Mai and turn a sharp corner to enter the Chiang Dao valley, the entire scenery changes from 'mariginally interesting' to breathtaking and unique.

Thankyou for ruining a perfectly good thread with your lewd whoremongering ideas.

What's toi? Is it what you "guys" in the know use for Kathoey?

I knew you were a Welsh poof, but I had never imagined you dressed up in womens clothing like a tart (until now)

    This thread is ruined.

Yep you can trust CMN to fuk things up.

Of course it wouldn't have happened if it was posted in the 'Living in Thailand' section, origionally, instead of the Lounge!

But still, now it's ruined let's have some more titties please!

    Exactly

(^lom - do you want to start a gang for people with b&w avatars, we could bully other people and form a sort of mafia, we could let CMN join and then whack him, cos he's not a "made" man from the old country and all that - just a thought)

    Your fault.
you posted it in the Captains lounge and asked what your favourite place was in thailand.
I answered honestly, chiang Dao... this was when i assumed you had posted the thread in the Living in thailand section, the natural destination for such a thread.

On realising that it was in the lounge I again answered honestly and said baccara.
Also a favourite place of mine which is also in thailand.

With the number of dead g.f you have had Smeg you would think the crematorium, hospital or temple would be your favourite

Nana is fucking hot and definitely the place to go these days. Not telling which bar is the best.

Pattaya has a lot of interesting place. Might go there this week-end. It has been a long time. Jenin's Bar is the hot shit !!!
