POP stars Liberty X are splashing out £4,500 by hiring a helicopter to pick up a CURRY.
The group has booked the 120-mile flight from the Sundarban restaurant in Selly Oak, Birmingham, to London.
Pop babe Michelle Heaton and pals — whose hits include A Little Bit More — will fork out £3,000 for the chopper and £1,500 for 40 meals before a gig.
Chef Jilul Huq, 38, said: “They must have heard from Westlife — they love my curries, too.”

37 quid 50p for a curry, now obviously prices have gone up in the UK but that is ridiculous, here we are deciding whether to spend 30baht or 300baht on a meal, and these rich people are paying 200,000baht to have their meal delivered, hope they all get Delhi Belly

Although nothing like these pop stars. I was born with nothing. Did very well in business at least far better than I ever could have imagined financially but was still a sad fuck. Walked away with a couple of suitcases. Now i am back to having nothing and am still sad fuck but i feel alot better about it

I am sure it would cost a lot more than £4500 to get the equivalent advert put in the Sun - and the advert would get a lot less attention.

Have a friend that got into the charter aircraft business about 20 years ago. He has made a mint. Just a 6 passenger Gulfstream jet, with all the trimmings is 20,000 to 30,000 UDS, one way from Hong Kong to Bangkok with his company. Sure it is VIP only but, the clients simply have money to burn.

I had a g/f who worked for some rich Italian industrialist, had his own private jet etc, houses all over the world

He sent the jet to Paris to pick up his wife's dog, to bring it down to Rome

The wife used to give her cast-off clothes to said g/f, all hi-fashion things, Dior, Versace etc, only one season old

nice to be rich, but I hate to see the flamboyant, wasteful side of it
