    Have You seen!

What are some common things you cannot find in Thailand that you would like. And maybe the other members can help you find them.
Personally I am looking for Sweet and low. Not that light sugar that is just sugar. Nothing with aspartme in it, because I hear that when you mix it with heat it is real bad for you. Not that there is a heat problem in Thailand

    Good cheese and sausages
Excellent selection of cheeses in Rimping ChiangMai.
Also some decent sausages, a range of german and english types produced by Northern farms.

    1) Jellytots
    2) Vimto
    3) Ribena
    4) Yorkie bars, the fruit and nut ones
    5) Lilt

Mostly drinks with me, just like you tea lovers I am instead a lover of decent fruit drinks. The ones you dilute with water that's all I drink mostly and if I bother with drinking fizzy drinks I always enjoyed lilt. I've tried the Thai version of fruit drinks that you add water to but they are not good at all just a really thick tasteless mixture like syrup.

Unfortunately, i have banned myself from going to Rimping.
haven't been in 5 months, last time I went to buy some coffee, i ended up spending a little over 4,000 baht for not a lot really, incuding one parsnip at 120 baht.

They have Ribena at Paragon food Hall. Central Cidlom Food hall also has the Robinson range of dilutable drinks 9apple an dblackcurrant, Summer Fruits, orage, lemon etc).

Actually it seems you can get just about anything at Chidlom...

One thing I do miss though is Patum Peperium. However, since the packaging is lightweight I generally bring a few tubs back with me. Lasts for ages too as one only uses it sparingly.

I don't think there are enough penguins or polar bears in Thailand, generally speaking. Obviously, if you're desperate to see one, you can go to the zoo, but I think there should be more of them, you know, just standing around on street corners, weighing themselves outside the 7-11, that kind of thing.
The sleep of reason brings forth monsters.
