Wednesday is dead.

Sorry folks but its bad news this time I am afraid. I recently posted a thread about pets and featured a pic of Wednesday the cat. Wednesday died today.

To look at Wednesday he appeared as any normal cat would but Wednesday was pretty special in my eyes. I had many a long conversation with young Wednesday before he succombed to an infection from a mysterious wound.
Wednesday passed away today in the Sena Nikhom Animal Hospital.

All that could be done was done yet it wasnt enough.

Wednesday wasnt my pet but he certainly played his part in making me feel welcome here at Chez Kanniff and I shall miss him.

Brought to Thailand by a couple from Texas, Wednesday never learnt Thai and spent his days arguing with a poodle from Saraburi called Bom Bim. Wednesday never let his ridiculous accent get in the way and was frustrated by Bom's futile attempts to teach him street Thai.

Wednesday once said to me "Cap, that fokking dog will be the end of me."
At the time I thought nothing of it and I now regret dismissing his comments as mere cat conjecture. It has been mooted (fok the spelling) that, it was, in fact Bom Bim, that caused the wound to which Wednesday succombed.

But it doesnt do to make allegations that can never be proven.

In my life, I have buried quite a number of pets. All provided me with a succour that is difficult to explain.

While I understand that you may be filled with remorse please read how Wednesday met his end in the OP. Sorry, but I am a little upset just now.

Mate,

I never cried when my granma died - but i sure as hell cried when my dogs died!

Pets are special - however, we tend to outlive them - which makes it hard.

Was it possibly from another animal, bite.

Also, "Wednesday" is a cool name for a cat.

That is a big mistake to make. A very big cat sized mistake.

I think we should get you working for the tabloids over in the UK with your stories.

So if Wednesday is not dead what the hell has happened to him.

Apparently it is still touch and go with Wednesday but as I understand it this speculation was begun by a 3 year old who misses him while he is still in the Sena Nikhom Animal Hospital.

Where have I been you ask Quirrel? I have been watching you.
