How do you spend your time.....?
Sleep, surf the web, work once in a while.
Nothin' much.
Just fuck about...
some people smoke fags in public toilets...
I never get bored.
I can always find something to do.
I just do whatever I feel like doing, and do it when I like
I enjoy being retired.

I go weeks working hard followed up by weeks of only doing a few hours a day. I enjoy both of them but I reckon I would go stir crazy if I retired full time tomorrow.
I need to find a hobby.
I work on my bikes but since I just sold my latest one and not geting parts for the 900, I'm getting bored. Hoepfully the parts will be in some time next month and will be on the road before the end of the next month. Gotta see about getting my frame up to Chiang Mai to get one of FF's friends to do a powder coat on it. will be getting some more chrome work done soon. Engine should be out in the next day or so. Looking for another project bike.

during da week - work surf work - followed by evening of drinking and going out ! if i'm feeling like a night in - a DVD movie or a couple hours on the X-box is good.
W/E's - sport and more sport followed by some drinkning and going out.
I'm so busy now that I'm not working, that when it's time to go cut zzzzzzzzs I wish there was more time to continue doing all the enjoyable things I was doing during the day.
Now, looking back, working was a semi boring thing and I'm one of those few that loved his profession!
ah and what do I do now.. I spend an inordinate amount of time in the company of several computers
working is a very boring thing, even on the odd occasions you may enjoy it
I am always thinking of the interesting, fun things I could be doing, instead of being stuck in some tedious office
I suppose that is why they pay you!!
I think most people find it difficult to retire, but I am practising all the time. I have about 6 months of the year when I do not work, on average, that keeps me sane. Always very busy then. DIY on various things, sculpture, painting, cycling around, anything that requires little effort, coffee and croissant etc
I have reported your post
Never really had much interest in a "job" but i've had a few. Some paid well others verywell. Always thought I was taking my retirement in installments. I keep my mind active and try to get involved in a project or two. I've now got a few goin' on work on them usually for several 12 hours for days striaght. I've got some more planned after these pan out, or not.
I like to take walks; when my knees aren't screamin' their lungs out at me.
Like knockin' about this country. There are so many things to see and do.
Guess I'm retired as I'm ever gonna be. Think it's been that way for the last 30 years or so. I've got no "retirement plan" nor "Retirement Income" gotta hustle a buck now and again. Actual 'retirement" just sounded so fuckin' boring. This life keeps me active, keeps me young.
I teach tues-fri from 8am till 1:30 pm, post in my free time. Mostly take care of and play with my kids from 3:30pm on when I pick them up. Quite busy now as its the end of term.
I actually retired early about five years ago and bought a house near the beach, but decided I was bored.
When I do retire though, I intend to keep travelling with my paintbox.
I have to keep busy (ish), or I go spare.
When I grow up, I want to be like Mr Frankie.
what, have a moustache?
LOL! You occassionaly make me laugh.Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog

I work five days a week, and my weekends are normally packed with things to do. Guess the only difference is that when I retire, I will have a packed week.
