Thread: Office 2007

Just loaded up Office 2007 very recently and discovers that new documents saved when sent as attachments cannot be viewed by the recipient whether it be MSWord or Excel format. Anyone has this problem?

When you save, save as Word 97-2003 document if you want others without Office 2007 to be able to read.

^ Thanks Benbaaa. In other words they are not exactly compatible with the older MS versions? No wonder, there were choices in the "save as" command and I went for the default.

yep, hence the new file extension of .docx
