Dilbert is spot on again and again. Probably my fave. The cartoon page was quite often the first, and last, page I turned to in the Post and Nation. I also like Monty - 'Blondie' gives me a saccharine overdose and 'Helen' makes me want to slap strangers around the head - just in case they may happen to be somehow related to, or at sometime met or passed in the street, the person who 'wrote' it.

Calvin and Hobbes is my favourite.

^I was quite genuinely shocked, and not a little upset, when I found out that the tiger is a stuffed toy. I felt the same way when I learnt that Andy Capp was unfaithful to Flo - Okay, she's a bit dowdy, but she's bloody good to that man.

The Far Side still makes me snort. Probably doesn't come across in words, but medieval crusaders storming a fortress dodging arrows, boiling oil, and all manner of nasty things. I identify very strongly with Dilbert. At appropriate moments I used to pass the cartoons out in project meetings when I worked for the Stock Exchange; as you might I guess I did not rise particularly far in the organisation.

Always a nice Christmas present for your manager, a collection of Dilbert books; Complete with certain pages postit marked and notes in the margins!
