What's going on here then.
I like Dilbert too, but not that much.
Thais laughing at Dilbert? I think there may be hope for this country yet! Dude that writes it came out of Pac Bell. he was an IT engineer. Never met, but I think we worked on some fo the same servers in the mid nineties. he actually got some heat, i hear, from the management. He was still working there when Dilbert became popular. Think the dude wold find a whole new range of material if he came to work here.
Dilbert; an icon for software and systems engineers everywhere.
Sometimes you don't need to say something.

Hey marmite.
look at this.....
Dilbert is spot on again and again. Probably my fave. The cartoon page was quite often the first, and last, page I turned to in the Post and Nation. I also like Monty - 'Blondie' gives me a saccharine overdose and 'Helen' makes me want to slap strangers around the head - just in case they may happen to be somehow related to, or at sometime met or passed in the street, the person who 'wrote' it.
Calvin and Hobbes is my favourite.
^I was quite genuinely shocked, and not a little upset, when I found out that the tiger is a stuffed toy. I felt the same way when I learnt that Andy Capp was unfaithful to Flo - Okay, she's a bit dowdy, but she's bloody good to that man.
Great to see that the Bangkok post has dropped BC.
Pile of old toss.
What is BC?
Did andy capp really do the dirty on flo?
The Far Side still makes me snort. Probably doesn't come across in words, but medieval crusaders storming a fortress dodging arrows, boiling oil, and all manner of nasty things. The one at the top of the ladder about to climb over the final barricade looks down and says to the soldier below, 'Ooh, watch out, these sticks are pointy"
B.C.
That's the caveman thingy I think. Wasn't it written by Tony Hart?
Calvin & Hobbes ROCKS!!! I gave all my books to some of my students. I miss them now.
A dreadful comic strip whose writer used it as an excuse to espouse his ridiculous opinions of creationism.Originally Posted by MM

I identify very strongly with Dilbert. At appropriate moments I used to pass the cartoons out in project meetings when I worked for the Stock Exchange; as you might I guess I did not rise particularly far in the organisation.
Always a nice Christmas present for your manager, a collection of Dilbert books; Complete with certain pages postit marked and notes in the margins!
loved working for finacial institutions
I got some tricks from Dilbert to tease my boss.
That's why I got a bit bonus!
Too bad, my boss is not silly like this!
