I know guys who have been here years yet they still feel the need to drink and socialise down Nana and Cowboy? Why?

When do they know when to stop? Surely frequenting such areas must become tiresome and boring, especially when you realise that most of the girls are not really interested and as Smeg says, move away from them when a tourist and his six football shirted mates strut in acting all hard.
