Iran Plans to Sue US for Terrorist Threats

Not bad ! Those sneaky Iranians learned from their enemies ...the trade of going to court/suing. Common now, who says this is ridiculous. Remember Liebeck v. McDonald's Restaurants also known as the McDonald's coffee case and the hot coffee lawsuit .

TEHRAN (FNA)- Parliamentary sources informed that Iran's legislature plans to file a complaint against the US at the UN Security Council to demand a prosecution and trial of Washington officials for their open call for terror attacks on Islamic Republic officials.

"The Iranian nation's live and telling documents prove that the US administration as a symbol of terrorism in the world has killed millions of people and is a threat to humanity," Vice-Speaker of the Parliament's Security Committee Vali Esmayeeli told FNA on Sunday.

In addition to documents on the US attacks on Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Bosnia and Herzegovina, inciting and sponsoring Saddam in the invasion of Iran and its support for the Zionist regime to occupy the Palestinian territories, Tehran has many more documents proving that Washington has direct or indirect ties and links with terrorists all around the world, he mentioned.

Esmayeeli called on all independent countries of the world to accompany Iran in condemning the United States' terrorist activities at the UN.

The Iranian lawmaker's remarks came two days after Iran's top security official Saeed Jalili released a number of documents detailing US involvement in acts of terror against the Islamic Republic.

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili made the revelations on US terror moves against Iran on Friday during a ceremony marking the takeover anniversary of the US embassy in Tehran by Iranian students in 1979.

Addressing hundreds of thousands of ralliers attending the November 4th rallies in Tehran, Jalili said Tehran has two large collections of such documents which will be given to Ban Ki-moon to be presented to all the UN member states.

"Iran's ambassador to the UN will in a formal letter ask the UN Secretary-General to provide other countries with the documents on the United States' management and financial backup for terrorists and put the judicial prosecution of the US administration on (the UN) agenda based on conventions," Jalili said.

"The United States has formally used its forces for terror and sabotage against Iran and other countries and as the Supreme Leader has said we have documents to discredit the United States.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei first announced on Wednesday that Iran planned to release a hundred corroborative documents substantiating Washington's role in supporting and sponsoring terrorist activities in Iran and the region.

"We have a hundred unbeatable documents on the US role in directing terror and terrorists in Iran and the region," Ayatollah Khamenei said on Wednesday, addressing a large number of Iranian school and university students on the threshold of November the 4 which marks the takeover of the former US embassy in Tehran by Muslim students following the late Imam Khomeini's line in 1979.

"By releasing these documents, we will dishonor the US and those who claim to be the advocates of human rights and campaign against terrorism among the world public opinion," he added.

The remarks by the Iranian Supreme Leader came after the US in a new plot against Iran alleged that Tehran wanted to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington.

On October 11, US officials alleged Iran's Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) plotted to kill the Saudi ambassador to Washington by hiring assassins from a Mexican drug cartel for $1.5 million.

An Iranian-American car salesman accused of involvement in the plot pleaded not guilty in a New York court last week.

Iran has strongly denied involvement, describing the allegations as "baseless scenario".

Tehran said the claim meant to tarnish its "good relations" with Saudi Arabia and also distract the world attention from anti-capitalism protests in the US.

Germany Warns Western Media against Debating Strike on Iran
TEHRAN (FNA)- German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle warned on Monday against a debate about a military strike against Iran, stressing that such reports strengthen the leadership of the Islamic Republic rather than weakening it.

"I warn against floating the idea of military options," Westerwelle said in an interview with a local newspaper, the Hamburger Abendblatt. "These are debates...that strengthen the Iranian leadership rather than weaken it."

He made the comments several days after the Israeli media was widely speculating on the possibility that Israel will strike Iran's nuclear program.
And in the meantime you have this Hobo from Texas giving Israel unconditional support
The speculations were based on unverified claims that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak have been lobbying for ministerial support for the strike.

The Israeli government has reportedly ordered a probe into leaks to the media which caused these unbridled speculations.

Iranian officials have dismissed the threats, but meantime, warned that Tehran would give a crushing response to any aggressive move.

"Today Iran's powerful forces are stronger than the past and the alien forces are well aware that any illegal and adventurist action against the Islamic Republic will face a crushing response," Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Logistic and Industrial Research General Mohammad Hejazi told FNA on Wednesday.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday the US and Israel are seeking to rally international support for an attack on Tehran because Iran is a very powerful country with huge capacities and capabilities and the US and Israel are unable to wage an attack on the country alone.

Ahmadinejad, in an interview with Egypt's state-owned Al-Akhbar newspaper, lashed out at Israel after the Zionist regime's president, Shimon Peres, warned at the weekend that an attack on Iran is becoming increasingly likely.

Israel, Iran's arch-enemy, is "bound to collapse", Ahmadinejad said.

"Iran's capabilities are increasing and it is progressing, and for that reason it has been able to compete in the world. Now Israel and the West, particularly America, fear Iran's capabilities and role," he said.

"Therefore they are trying to gather international support for a military operation to stop (Iran's) role. The arrogance should know that Iran will not allow them to take any action against it," he said.
