Thread: Irishman Arrested With Cocaine In Stomach

An Irishman has been arrested in Brazil with nearly two pounds of cocaine in his stomach.


The 20-year-old suspect was stopped as he tried to board a flight in Sao Paulo, headed to Brussels.

Officers became suspicious because the man appeared nervous, Brazilian police said.
When questioned, he admitted he'd swallowed capsules of cocaine.


He was taken to a hospital, where he expelled 72 capsules containing 1.8 pounds (830 grams) of the drug.

The hospital released a CT scan showing the man filled with oval-shaped capsules.

He was arrested on suspicion of international drug trafficking. If found guilty, he would face five to 15 years in prison.

There should be more strict border controls to the UK. UK is not euro criminal zone. Denmark did make their move already, closing the border for EU lowlife

The UK and Ireland never joined Denmark and the rest in the Schengen agreement with the free flow of people inside the EU. However it's all a bit like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted except in reverse.

Sky, get your facts straight! This was a Nigerian man travelling on a fake Irish passport, which other papers and media outlets have had correct for days. You should be sued for this headline.

I don't see any News Site as having the guy down as Non Irish
