World's fastest street car is an Andy little 250mph Vauxhall Victor
Andy Frost's turbo-charged Vauxhall Victor clocks 400kph (250mph), making it the world's fastest street legal car.
The souped-up motor can rocket the driver from 0-60 in under one second, and has a built-in parachute.
Not bad for a standard saloon he bought for £60 in 1980.
The car fanatic has devoted over 1,600 hours to painstakingly crafting the sports car in his garage, and the project has cost him an estimated £100,000 in total.
'I've spent £4,000 a year and I’m always trying to improve it,' said Mr Frost, 50, from Wolverhampton.
He added: 'It is a bit like Trigger's broom in Only Fools and Horses - I've changed so many parts that it has evolved into a super car from just a bog standard Vauxhall with nothing done to it.
'It is hardly recognisable from the the car I first bought.
