A Dunkin' Donuts in northern New Jersey is in the spotlight after one of its employees was found to have been offering sex in exchange for money during her breaks.

Rockaway Township police told The Daily Record of Parsippany that Melissa Redmond, 29, of Mine Hill, was facing prostitution charges

The police launched a six-week investigation known as "extra sugar" after getting a tip about the Redmond's activities at the Dunkin' Donuts.

Redmond worked the drive-through window at the Dunkin' Donuts on Route 46.

Detective Sgt. Kyle Schwarzmann reportedly said he noticed Redmond would go out to cars and would spend 10 to 15 minutes in the vehicles.

Schwarzmann says Redmond was arrested after soliciting sex from an undercover officer.

“She was a night time employee [9 p.m. to 5 a.m.], supposedly a very good one," Schwarzmann told the Asbury Park Press.

"Sometimes I 'd even see money changing hands," said Schwarzmann, who was tasked with surveilling Redmond at the coffee and donuts outlet.

He said that the cars would either stay in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot or drive to another nearby location.

Another officer, acting as the undercover "John" then "went in plain clothes through the drive thru window. He spoke to her and she said if he wanted a good time to call her and she gave him her phone number."
"Slavery is the daughter of darkness; an ignorant people is the blind instrument of its own destruction; ambition and intrigue take advantage of the credulity and inexperience of men who have no political, economic or civil knowledge. They mistake pure illusion for reality, license for freedom, treason for patriotism, vengeance for justice."-Simón Bolívar

Hope it catches on here. Bangyai is a long way from Sukhumvit but theres a DD in Big C with some very pretty girls just down the road. I am in a steady relationship but having a donut ring nibbled off JT would probably not count as adultary.

My first thought was how much money this cost the taxpayer. Personally, I think deserves a raise.

Homicide and vice are two entirely different squads. Prostitution is illegal in the U.S. except in Nevada.

Maybe if a few officers were taken off vice and placed on the homicide squad they might solve a few more murders.

It's disgusting the lengths some police will go through to enforce the Bible; some states use criminal forfeiture laws (originally passed for drug dealers) against those who attempt to procure a pedestrian prostitute while in their car. They seize the car and sell it as having been used in a crime, and since this is not considered "criminal" in nature, but "civil", most of the protections for criminal defendants do not apply to these ridiculous sales.

The cops were probably just annoyed at having to wait to be served.

Ms Redmond should try for a job at McDonald's. Happy meals could take on a whole new meaning.

I had a good look around...

    Found this...

    But that isn't her.....

Best I could come up with was this....which appeared here Melissa Redmond Sex Charge - Selling More than Coffee at Dunkin Donuts? - National Ledger and to be honest, doesn't inspire confidence.

In the meantime here is another (loosely) related photo...

Fantastic story, first thing i thought was what does she look like.
From the back, looks half acceptable, but not much to go no.
