Thread: How Jewish Is Hollywood?

I have nothing against being Jewish............................................ ..............

I listen to a lot of US talk radio. Generally, the majority of the talkshow hosts on the progressive/liberal side are Jewish. It's pretty hard to find a non-jew on the mainstream online progressive stations. On the other side of talk radio, I can't name a rightwing jewish talkshow host. Are there a lot of jewish in the rightwing radioshow host area? I don't mean owners of stations, I mean people actually talking on the radio who have a mainstream following?

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is probably the most famous. She's an arrogant preacher of family values with a huge following on her talk show. All the more funny when a former (married) lover of hers sold nekkid pics of her to a porn site.

Of course, she blamed her youthful aberration on the fact that she was Catholic at the time and had subsequently converted to the Jewish faith.

They don't come much more conservative than this American Eva Braun.

I come from a fairly Jewish area and the corner shop was owned by the Blick family - ergo sum Jews owned the food and distribution economy!!!!
There was an Eisenstein at the local bank branch, a teller - ergo sum Jews handled a lot of the money in our suburb!!!!

Marmite, I'd say you're right, as is Tom Sawyer.

Jews and Chinese have the reputation of working hard, saving their pennies and living a spartan lifestyle to be able to educate their children well. Once done the children will step up the social and economic ladder and take care of the parents and siblings - allowing more offspring a better education etc etc etc... the cycle continues.

Quite a hideous thing to do, isn't it, and worthy of derision and hatred. It is akin to general envy. Solution: Get off your ass, stop selling your children, save up for a good school and get the ball rolling instead of looking for handouts and the easy way out that will never come unless some stupid white guy marries your daughter who is 1/3 his age

It wasn't too long ago that the Protestant work ethic fairly well encompassed this way of thinking but our greed and general egocentric attitude put paid to that.
