Another wealthy foreign businessman has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a maid in a New York hotel - just two weeks after IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn was held.
Egyptian Mahmoud Abdel Salam Omar, 74, is accused of assaulting the woman in The Pierre hotel in the upmarket Upper East Side of Manhattan, where apartments are worth as much as $20million.
It is thought the woman was asked to deliver tissues to room 1027 on Sunday evening when Omar struck.

The former head of the Bank of Alexandria is said to have asked the 44-year-old maid to put the tissues on the table as he locked the door to the 10th-floor $900-a-night suite on 61st Street, off Fifth Avenue.
He then groped her breasts and ground his body against hers, according to the New York Daily News.
'When she came to his room, he got carried away. He started grabbing at her. He wouldn't let her go,' a hotel bellman said.

The maid told him 'I'm not up here for that' but Omar persisted.
Dressed only in his pyjamas, he asked the maid for her number to which she replied with a fake one, before letting her go.
The attack was reported to police yesterday morning after the hotel management allegedly put off dealing with the maid's initial complaint.
She is said to have complained to the manager of the hotel immediately after the alleged attack.
But he told her she had to go through her own supervisor who was not at work until the next day.
Omar, of Alexandria, Egypt, was arrested and charged with sexual abuse, unlawful imprisonment, forcible touching and harassment and is being held in a police cell. He is expected to appear before a New York judge today.
The hotel bellman told the New York Daily News: 'I don't want to say it, but he tried to rape her. It's a total copycat of what happened with the French guy.'

A housekeeper added: 'They were saying the guest was a very nice guy, and then this. Human beings are strange.'
A doorman said he was shocked by what is said to have happened at The Pierre.
He said: 'I'm disturbed. This is one of the more quiet hotels. It's discreet.'
THE PIERRE HOTEL
The Pierre is the flagship of Taj Hotels and is a New York landmark off Fifth Avenue, overlooking Central Park.
Having re-opened following a $100m renovation The Pierre now offers 140 guest rooms and 49 suites starting at $776 and rising to more than $1,000-a-night.
Apartments at the hotel said it was worth $20million.
All rooms are outfitted with luxurious bathrooms and the latest amenities.
One employee told the New York Post: 'Maybe we should have our staff trained to deal with that type of person. You never know who you are going to run into.'
One of the chefs described the woman at the centre of the allegations as quiet and timid.
He told MailOnline: 'When I saw her she was very quiet. She sat with the other maids in the cafeteria but did not say much.'
The employee said representatives from an industry union had come to speak to the other maids while the hotel conducted its own investigation into the alleged assault.
The arrest comes two weeks after former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn was charged with trying to rape a hotel maid at another luxury Manhattan hotel.
Omar is now the chairman of a leading Middle Eastern salt producer El-Mex Salines.
The hotel, where celebrities including Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are said to have been recent guests, said it is cooperating with police in the investigation.
Fish and chips at the exclusive La Caprice hotel restaurant costs almost $30 alone and a salmon dish with cherry tomatoes on the side costs a huge $50.


NYPD detectives 'found the complainant to be credible', a police spokesman said.
Omar is now being held at the 19th precinct on the Upper East Side.


Strauss-Kahn, now under house arrest in a $14m dollar New York townhouse, has denied charges of a criminal sexual act, attempted rape, sexual abuse, unlawful imprisonment and forcible touching.
If convicted, Strauss-Kahn, who resigned as managing director of the International Monetary Fund after his arrest, faces up to 25 years in prison.
He is due to appear in court again on June 6.
