He should be sent the bill.

ahahhaha it made me laugh ,those pesky protesters spoiling blairs gravy train retirement .
was not the main charge at the Nurenburg war trials-starting pre emptive agressive wars -? fits the bill with his Serbia and Iraq adventures.
Meanwhile round the corner a huge queue wait to buy his book,yep you can fool some people all of the time .
Hey! Again I'm preempted;

Serbia? WTF are you talking about? The Europeans had to be dragged kicking and screaming in to Serbia to stop a genocide. If it had not been for the USA and Canada pushing for UN action there never would have been an intervention and the some Nato members would have sat on the sidelines wondering if there was an opportunity to sell arms to the various factions.
The English role in peacekeeping in Serbia was nothing spectacular and was limited to the SW Division of the International Peacekeeping Mission and was staffed in large part by Canadians, Malaysians and Czechs. Look at the other participants to get an idea of who did the heavy lifting;
SE Div - French
Tuzla Group -USA with Russian, Danish, Estonians, Finnish, Lithuanians, Latvians, Norwegians, Swedish, Turkish and Polish personnel.
Had it not been for the support of the Russians and the Nordic nations, every non Serb Bosnian would have been exterminated. Mr. Blair can hardly be accused of over reacting. In fact, the hesitation of the UK in dealing with the horrors in Bosnia explain a great part of the mindset in respect to the 2nd Iraqi war.
BTW, you conveniently forget that the Iraqis were violating the no fly zones on a regular basis, had threatened Kuwait again and have broken the UN embargos. You remember the oil for food agreement right? Guess who was violating the embargo? It was Europeans and the Chinese. Iraq had oil supply contracts with Italy, Germany and China. It did not have contracts with the UK. You conveniently forget that Saddam was a mass murderer that was responsible for the raping, gasing, and torturing hundreds of thousands of his own people.
Tonty Blair is a good and decent man. He has nothing to apologize for, except perhaps for just not carpet bombing the place. Instead he tried to help a nation evolve and get past savagery. He's certainly a lot more competent than the Browns and Camerons of this world. Mr. Blair will be vindicated by the passage of time, just as Maggie Thatcher has been.

Very well said. I can't help notice from time to time how the same kind of people who wring their hands and whine over situations like the Balkans, Afganistan (Taliban) etc and complain that "The West" should "do something" ....then complain even louder when we do. WE are always in the wrong it seems...and they...whoever it may be are always in the right. It equally amazes me how anyone can support attacking public figures they may have been in disagreement with by throwing eggs, spitting at them and trying to stop them from going about their legitimate business. These actions are in fact a from of bodily assault. If the police or anyone else lays a hand on the attackers....its police brutality...and their "rights" have been violated. A whole army of civil rights lawyers and activists will be screaming foul and seeking compensation and retribution. Where were all these bleeding heart protesters when Saddam was gassing people and the Taliban were conducting public executions of women for things like going to school.
You don't get a lot of bleeding heart protesters in these places because the well proven crowd control method or raking them with machine gun fire appears to work better than threats of probation. What right do these morons have to interfere with Tony Blair (or anyone else) because of a book signing. Blair has gained a great deal of respect around the world, even from those who may have opposed his policies when he was in power. He made tough decisions and made some mistakes...as every leader does. He tried to make a contribution---those "protesters" in Dublin do nothing and contribute nothing....but will always be the first in line to try and discredit those who do. They are really big on "tolerance" as long as it is them that is being tolerated...but at the same time they can not tolerate anyone that might disagree with them and their "cause"...whatever it might be. I look forward to reading Blair's book. There was much that I disagreed as far as his politics was concerned, but I respect the man ,and his intelligence...and I feel quite sure he would not throw eggs at anyone....even David Cameron....
^Not a Blair fan, but well said.
The missiles - which missed their target - were thrown by anti-war protesters as he arrived at a shop in Dublin to sign copies of his book.
Pity it wasn't "Gordon the Moron" I'd have liked to have seen that.
ant-war protesters....are they talking about the Easter Uprising?
There is a mental condition called "libtard". Not all liberals are libtards, just some of the more extreme ones. These people think that anyone that doesn't share their views is evil but can't explain why. I had a girlfriend once that was a libtard and that is how I learned about this condition.
i am talking about the only serb WAR that blair was involved in there , the so called kosova war
-you seem to be talking 3 years earlier about natos intervention in Srebrenicaar in Bosnia - Hersagova , the dayton peace agreement of 1995 ended that , blair came to power in 1997
please get your timelines right before you start with the course language
.blair was just a poodle for bush , the reason they both hated serbia` was because it was the last socialst european state.
I disagree that Blair blew it, he managed to pull off one of the biggest cons on the British public ever known and I'm not talking weapons of mass destruction, I'm talking "New Labour".Originally Posted by ItsRobsLife
Further to that he was smart enough to stand down and allow "Gordon the Moron" to take the reigns, which wasn't good for the UK but it was certainly good for Blair.
Blair made mistakes but there's no doubt about his ablity when we're talking about politics he's a master of deception and now he's reaping a fortune from speeches, books and public appearances and it'll take a lot more than a few bad eggs to deter him!

This is a blatant exaggeration of the facts. There were people killed because they were non Serbs, and there were Serbs killed because they were Serbs, but neither side tried to wipe out the other side. There were times when different sides of the conflict worked with each other against one side, the media is who created a so called genocide. It reminds me of the people who claime some genocide is going on in Africa, but the country's population doubles every so many years.
DEAR mr gribbs . good reply , but in fact in was zygotel statement not mine, i know these seas of quotes and sub quotes etc etc get confusing
Must have been a tad confusing, can anyone tell me who won?Originally Posted by Mr Gribbs
