Its a long way to travel from Nigeria, Chad and the other countries when you know the border crossings are closed.

The rules from the Libyan government and the Oil Company were give them water and blankets, only in the event of an emergency were they to be taken on board and then they would be repatriated to Libya and await deportation to their country of origin

Not sur what that meant in Libya, as its sometimes possible to disappear if you are a foreigner.

Truck load of monetary refugees broke down at the end of our lease road.
About a hundred men women children and babies on this 5 ton truck with all their possesions. 42 degrees, no shade, except under the truck on the pavement.
They were in need of a litre of brake fluid to repair the clutch.
Rig Manager, national, told them to go Fucck themselves. We inturn told him to go fuck himself and got em going with water, couple cases of tuna some bread and milk for the kiddies. Got photos, just don't know how to post em.
