As a lawyer I was involved in police litigation, the use of the taser, chemical mace and batons were liberalized im many police departments to accommodate female police officers, who obviously lack the physical strength to fight a man. It's only a game of baseball. They could have just caught up with him and escorted him out. I never see the UK coppers tasering bare bum runners.

I'm afraid the fact that there are female police officers Bob has little to do with officers carrying equipment designed to disable a suspect. Ask any officer (male or female) regarding their concerns when being threatened and they will say that they need to create their own space, keeping the suspect at a distance thereby minimising the risk of being overpowered. Certainly, in the US where officers carry firearms, allowing a suspect within touching distance can prove fatal. Wrestling with suspects on the street is no win situation.

Political correctness has again little to do with employing female officers in a police force. They were being employed many decades prior to PC and equal rights.

The fact that some overweight police officers are employed has nothing to do with discrimination law. Officers who apply may need to pass a physical test, certainly a medical certificate supplied from a qualified examiner would be required.

The officer in the photo looks considerably overweight but then he may be a veteran of the force as he appears to be in his 40's. It would be a serious error of judgement to dismiss any competent police officer with vast experience merely because of his size.

On a one to one, and i am of considerable stature, i wouldn't particularly fancy my chances against him so it's no wonder the kid was running as fast as he could!

Yea Right, a violent or dangerous criminal is going to react exactly the same way when some 90 pound woman cop tells him he's going to jail as he is when a fit 200 pound male officer tells him the same thing, and handcuffing someone requires the officer to get close. I have little sympathy for this clown who ran onto the field, but he was tazered because the cop was too fat to catch him any other way.

A violent /dangerous criminal will receive the same treatment from a police officer irrespective of whether they are female or male. They wear the same disabling equipment Bob.

With reference to your comment concerning the overweight officer, are you seriously implying that only officers capable of passing time trials in sprints and middle distance running should make the grade?

They certainly shouldn't be fat fukkers who let their lack of mobility take over their actions and make them into Roscoe P Coltrane with a severe case of inadequacy.

Tasering a kid who runs out onto a field . . . and the drones accept that tasering is acceptable

Wouldn't that be Robbie Coltrane as. . .the Cracker! Except I don't see him tasing (tazing?) anybody.

It appears from the photo that the officer got within 10 metres of the much younger and more agile whippersnapper. Not bad for a fat f---ker eh!

I can post some wonderful photos of optical illusions if you wish . . . ever heard of angles?
Yes, he is a fat fukker who should couldn't run a mile if his life depended on it, hence the use of the taser.

Where is the kid going to run to? Does he look like he has C4 strapped around his skinny chest? Is he carrying a Kalashnikov? A huuuge knife or machete? How about even a baseball bat? After all, it is a baseball game and there are at least 100 deadly baseball bats in the dugouts.

Yes, taser him because you are a fat fukker and look like a fat donkey trying to chase down a pimply kid

Sheriff Roscoe P Coltrane as he hunts down Bo Duke, Luke Duke and Daisy Duke. Yea, I know he's not fat, I mixed him up with the fat cop in James Bond's JW Pepper . . . am on a slow connection or I'd paste a pic of him.

But no, Cracker wouldn't taser anyone

Apparently got wthin 5 metres of the lad PH according to the report, so no optical illusions/angles for discussion on this one.

Is it possible that he could have been actually closing the gap, if he was then what an athlete.

The force defnitely neeeds more like him!

    Well, according to your source:

This happens in every ballpark, sometimes many times a season, and security always gets the guy without having to tase him. (Until this particular officer got tired of running.)
Kind of contradicts what you stated.

    A reader comment:
It's completely inappropriate to use a taser in that situation. He was surrounded by security and was a danger to no one. The problem here is that all the cops/security in the video are obese and slow and are completely outmatched in pace and agility by the non-athletic streaker (& the majority of the spectators for that matter).
That cop needs to lay off the doughnuts, get his fat a55 in the gym then he would be able to take down the streaker without have to use the taser.
Watch how pathetically slow that cop is, I hope he gets fired.
Watch the video MrLick . . . the cop looks ridiculous.

The last time I got tasered, I fell to the ground. I only fell because the electric shock gave me an instant mega orgasm & I ejaculated 3 times.

As for the fat 'pig' getting close to the over-enthusiastic fan, this is not true. The footage clearly shows the kid running towards the fat 'pig' several times. Fatso was hardly moving.

    Yanks & their guns...insane.
