Pauline hansen has the right to sell to whomever she pleases.

It's not PC and sure to upset some. You don't have to like it but in my opinion, as a private citizen she can sell or refuse to sell to whomever she pleases.
I don't believe governments should be telling us what choices to make in our personal lives. Next thing you know they'll be arresting people on the grounds of racial discrimination for rejecting a girl (or guy) of one race or other at the pub last night.
Pauline Hanson would be breaking the law if she refused to sell her home to a Muslim buyer on religious grounds, the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Commission says.
Ms Hanson, who is selling her home in Coleyville, south-west of Brisbane, ahead of her move to Britain, said she would not accept any offers from Islamic buyers.
"Because I don't believe that they are compatible with our way of life, our culture," she told Seven's Sunrise program.
It's not for everyone ... Pauline Hanson says her home in Queensland's Coleyville, above, won't be offered to Muslim buyers. Photo: Getty Images

"And I think we are going to have problems with them in this country further down the track, so I have no intention of selling my home to a Muslim."
Acting Queensland Anti-Discrimination Commissioner Neroli Holmes said Ms Hanson's intention to ban Muslim buyers put her at risk of breaching the state's discrimination laws.
"The Act clearly states a person must not discriminate against another person by failing to sell them land or by placing terms on which it is offered for sale," she said in a statement.

"If a person of the Muslim faith wishes to purchase a property and is denied that opportunity because of their religion, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the commission."
Ms Holmes said the rule applied whether the land was offered by an individual or by an agent acting on their behalf.
LJ Hooker Yamanto agent Keith Edwards confirmed his client had spelled out her intentions, but said he would not discriminate when talking to potential buyers.
"I am required by law to present all offers ... and I will do so irrespective of race, creed, gender or religion," he told brisbanetimes.com.au.
"It is not my decision to present or not to present [an offer] and I will do so as the true professional that I am."
Mr Edwards said he had already received any enquiry from someone purporting to be a Muslim and if it were a solid offer he would present it to Ms Hanson for her consideration.
The agent said he would not ask potential buyers to specify their religion.
"No mate - it's against the law, I'm not allowed to do that," he said.
"No, you must quote me as saying I would not discriminate on any enquiry."
Ms Hanson announced earlier this year she would relocate to Britain. Her home is listed for $2.15 million.
Ms Hanson's hardline views on race sparked a national debate over immigration policy and Aboriginal disadvantage from the time she entered Parliament in 1996, the same election that made John Howard prime minister.
Ms Hanson, on a tour of her home with a television crew, said she would not allow certain members of the Australian community to buy the property.
Asked if Asians were welcome to express interest in the property, Ms Hanson said she would not sell the home to an Asian who lived overseas.
But she had no problem with selling the property to "an Australian who is of Asian background".
    "No problems whatsoever," she said.
Asked if she would be prepared to sell the property to a Muslim, she said she would not.
The president of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils Inc, Ikebal Patel, said that if Ms Hanson felt she could discriminate even as she left Australia, it was ''a good thing that she's gone to England''.
''If she feels even in her final shot in selling her house she can still discriminate against the greater population of the world, then that's one person we don't need to live in this country,'' Mr Patel said.
''And it's a good thing that she's gone to England then.''
Mr Patel also questioned whether people from the communities Ms Hanson singled out would want to buy her house.
''People might think there will be people from the Asian or Muslim communities that might be clamouring to buy this house but that's far from the truth.
''Whether people from these communities would want to buy this house is another thing that we can question.''

So in the same vein, you could have no problem with being charged more than Thais for food/drink/entertainment/accomodation/whatever could you.

But the thing is, I bet you do.

You might have to accept it but a potential Muslim buyer doesn't, that's where the Anti Discrimination Act comes in.

Australia could learn a lot from Thailand - lets start with Australia for Australians no more than 49% ownership buy non- Australians - lets have special discounts for locals in tourist centres like the Gold Coast.
Lets get something straight about Pauline Hansen and ONE Nation. Pauline refused to represent Aborigines because they had too much representation already- paid for by taxpayng Australians, this created an imbalance with education grants amongst other things.
Most of the imbalance examples she highlighted were were taken up and used by other political parties when they realised the depth of Austalian feeling.
The primary policy of One Nation was "Equal rights for all Australians" ie no advantage over another because you were Aboriginal or a member of another ethnic group. The Labor Party pushed the racist tag to the limit to discredit One Nation and the Liberals shut up and rode silently on the wave of racist backlash that resulted.
Pauline is right about the moslems not being suitable buyers because their religion prevents assimilation with the Australian way of life.

The Anti discrimination of 1974 as ammended by the Labor Party 1998 (?) is biased in favour of anyone who is not white and of Anglo Saxon Heritage.
As one Labor Federal Minister said to me when I challenged him: "it wasn't designed to protect you" - I am quoting Mr. Neville Newell MP

Should it? When was the last time you were discriminated against owing to your 'White Anglo-Saxon heritage'?

    Which ones, in particular ?

She also had a 5% flat tax rate on all Australians. I think she also believed in the tooth fairy

Oh yes. The vast majority of kids in my school, Cranbrook in Sydney's eastern suburbs, were aboriginal . . . Must have been . . .
(Oh, hang on . . . none were Aboriginal)

Whatever favour Hanson may have had for her stance on immigration and claims she is not a racist have been destroyed by this idiocy of not wanting to sell to Muslims

Seeing as I can'tr edit my posts, down to some mod's wisdom:

But she had no problem with selling the property to "an Australian who is of Asian background".
    SMH

How do you rate Pauline Hanson's decision to refuse to sell her home to a Muslim buyer?

It's good - she should be able to sell it to whomever she wants 36%

    It's bad - it's an example of racism 64%

Thankfully most Australians aren't deluded enough to accept the fortress white man mentaility

irrelevant, the point is that there is loads of chances for them black buggers who are too lazy to use it.

*in fact, I'm so generous, I will personally donate 1 Million dollars to any aboriginal who visits me personally in the next hour and confesses to sleeping with NAwty.

nonsense, its her house, and she should sell it to whoever she damn well pleases, Muslim or not. It may make her a racist [at][at][at][at], but its her right to pick choose and refuse any buyer on any grounds.
I hope Australian legislation does not get as ridiculous as UK legislation.
She is going to have a hard time in Saudi Britain!
