A BRITISH man who tried to sell photos from the post-mortem of murdered actor Rob Knox has been jailed for 15 months.

Charaf Elmoudden, 20, offered nine shocking images to journalists last March of the Harry Potter star. They then informed police, The Sun reported.
After the sentence had been handed down, Elmoudden was branded "vile and despicable" by 18-year-old Knox’s parents Sally and Colin.

The photos were taken in a South London mortuary days after actor Rob died, police believe.

Scotland Yard said Elmoudden, of Colindale, North London, never revealed how he came by them.

He admitted handling stolen goods at Wood Green Crown Court in North London.

Knox, who starred in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, was knifed to death outside a bar in Sidcup, Kent, in May, 2008.

His killer, Karl Bishop, is serving 20 years.
