Man finds neighbour is long-lost brother

TWO Canadian men, each given up for adoption at a young age, were separately searching for their biological families when they learned that all they had to do was walk across the street.

The two men were shocked to discover that they were brothers - and neighbours - the Canadian Press reported.

The surprise came when one of the men, Tommy Larkin, was speaking with someone from the adoption agency about the identity of his brother.

"She gave me his name and asked me four or five times if I knew him," Mr Larkin told a local newspaper.

"I said I didn't and she kept asking me if I was sure I haven't met him."

Then she gave him his newfound brother's address.

"I am looking at the house right now," he said.

Mr Larkin, 30, and Stephen Goosney, 29, were born a year-and-a-half apart and lived across the street from each other for seven months before the adoption agency connected the two, according to the Canadian Press.

I know of another reunion like this from back in the late 1980's.

2 Brit born brothers adopted out at a young age. 1 was adopted in Canada and later returned to the UK to join the Royal Navy. The other was adopted in Australia and later joined the Royal Australian Navy.

During a Royal Navy ship visit to Perth in Oz the 2 navy's played a friendly rugby game. After the game the teams commented on how much the 2 guys looked alike.

A couple of months later after some research it was proved they were indeed brothers.

I know a guy that met a lady and they shagged for about a week. Eventually the topic came up that he was adopted. After revealing a few facts about it, and some further investigation, he realized he'd been shagging his sister. He was happy to find his long lost sister, but was a bit bitter as he had fallen in love with her. The shagging stopped.
