Rudd's a fool. Williams was pretty complimentary about Aus and very funny.

Rudd's a bit sensitive, isn't he? In fact, I think most Americans like Australians. My family and I have visited there, and had a great time and my niece went to college there for a semester. When you get wound up over a joking statement by a comedian, that's pretty sad. But then, politicians are a pretty sad lot, no matter what country they slither out from under.

I cannot belive any Australian would be offended by anything Robin Williams said, i also thought he was quite complimentary.

However if Mr Rudd would like to file a class action against Mr Williams in London i am sure the lawyers will be happy to assist and there will be an accomodating
judge to hear it!!

With the passing of time, it has come to often be used to describe rural white Southerners who drive pick-ups, swill beer, listen to country music, watch Jerry Springer, etc. "White trash" is rarely used in other than a derogatory sense, and is used to describe rural or urban whites who live off of the welfare system, similar to their brethren of darker hue in the nation's urban ghettos. "Trailer trash" falls somewhere between the two. Many rednecks are quite proud of the title.

I pissed myself laughing and Rudd should lighten up and get himself a sense of humour or loosen up his underwear.

I was slightly amused by Letterman as well. Has that Redneck ever left the safety blanket being the United States?

^ yep way I was brought up and as for them city slickers they can get f'd ... after nearly 10 years in Asia it is refreshing getting back into that lifestyle in the islands
