UK Airport Scanner Abuse Starts, "Lovely Tits"

A HEATHROW security man was quizzed by police after ogling a girl colleague "naked" in a new anti-terror body scanner.

Jo Margetson, 29, reported John Laker, 25, after he took her picture with the X-ray gadget and made a lewd comment.

The pervy guard leered and told her: "I love those gigantic t**s."

She had entered the X-ray machine by mistake - and was horrified when Laker pressed a button to take a revealing photo.

Jo ... she was pictured 'naked'

Laker, who faces the sack, was the first airport worker to be caught abusing the controversial new devices.

They were brought in by the Government after the Christmas Day underpants bomber tried to blow up a flight to Detroit.

They produce full-body "nude" images of passengers to locate hidden weapons or explosives. This includes clear outlines of genitalia.

Opponents of the scanners, including anti-paedophile groups, have furiously condemned their use.

After Laker sneaked a look at her body and made the remark, horrified Jo told her bosses and police at the West London airport.

Both work for airport operator BAA. Last night Jo told The Sun at her home in Stanwell, Middlesex: "I can't bear to think about the body scanner thing.

Heathrow ... first to get scanners

"I'm totally traumatised. I've spoken to the police about it. I'm in too much of a state to go to work."

Laker was questioned by cops and on Monday was given a formal warning for harassment, which is one level below a caution.

Critics of the body scanners had warned of just such an abuse.

Barrister Alex Deane, director of Big Brother Watch, said: "When privacy-invading machines are installed at our airports, abuses like this are inevitable.

"We are disturbed to hear of this case, which will lead to greater calls for these scanners to be banned.

"For every official caught ogling like this, there are plenty more eyeing up law-abiding travellers. These expensive machines are totally disproportionate."

Civil rights group Action On Rights For Children claimed the scanners could breach laws against indecent images of children.

And the Equality and Human Rights Commission has claimed they may breach privacy rights.

Controversial ... body scanner like ones at Heathrow

Heathrow and Manchester airports were first to get the scanners.Birmingham and Gatwick will have them later this year.

Transport Secretary Lord Adonis defended their use. He said: "A pat-down search is intrusive but people accept that.

"A body scanner is in the same category. Images are deleted and staff are properly trained and supervised."
A BAA spokesman said: "We are aware an allegation has been made against a member of staff and we are currently investigating.
"We treat any allegations of inappropriate behaviour or misuse of security equipment very seriously."

The security guy who spends his work time looking at people passing through his nude scanner is being interrogated by the police for looking at one of the staff, and she is traumatised by it, do we get an opt out option if we don't want to go through it? I don't think so.

Not surprising this douche is going to try to make a workers compensation or sexual harassment case out of it. I remember when the workplace could be fun, it was only about 35 years ago. I'm sure glad I'm not in it anymore. Of course this case equally illustrates the type of power hungry but stupid people who are attracted to government work. Seems they deliberately seek out not-too-bright people to do this type of work, both in the UK and the USA.

Naked Body Scanner Images Of Film Star Printed, Circulated By Airport Staff

Heathrow Airports denial that Indian film star Shahrukh Khans naked body scanner images were printed and circulated by airport staff because the devices have no capability to print or distribute images contradicts leaked government documents that prove the x-ray backscatter machines do have the option to store and send images, as well as actual images of the print outs that are freely available on the Internet.

Heathrow today denied that naked body scanner images of Khan were printed and circulated by airport security staff, telling the London Telegraph the claims were completely factually incorrect because the body-scanning equipment had no capability to print images.

The BAA spokeswoman stressed that images captured by the equipment could not be stored or distributed in any form.

Heathrow are trying to avoid any investigation into the incident by claiming it simply could not be true.

However, leaked government documents obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center and confirmed as authentic by CNN show that the devices must have the ability to store and send images when in test mode.

That requirement leaves open the possibility the machines — which can see beneath peoples clothing — can be abused by TSA insiders and hacked by outsiders, said EPIC Executive Director Marc Rotenberg, according to the report.

If you look at the actual technical specifications and you read the vendor contracts, you come to understand that these machines are capable of doing far more than the TSA has let on, added Rotenberg.

I don't know about the UK but in the US we can opt out., however that means we can be searched by other methods--pat down or strip.

I don't think I like the idea of them putting children thru these nude body scans, at least now the police know where to find pedophiles, ie the local catholic church or just back from TEFLering in Thailand, with them putting kids thru nude scanners you can imagine what jobs these priests and teflers would prefer.

    So am I.
I am a Dogcatcherist and body scanners are against my religion.
Stripping stark naked and storming around an airport with a full on woody isn't though.
Within the laws of dogcatcherism a dogcatcherist can only be full naked in public places.
I do of cause have the ability to hide 5 kilos of c4 up my arse.
If you body scan me I can never work again and need state benefit and compensation of 5 million pounds because my todger has be subjected to evil infidel exrays.

I read about it when it was first proposed for UK. Yes, you can opt out here too, with the same methods of search being used.

Reading the report, I do think the girl is going too far - too traumatised to go to work, yeah, right . But, I'm damn sure I wouldn't go through one of those things or let my little boy go through one.

I like the way it is called an anti terror scanner, can't understand why it isn't called a nude body scanner though which is what it does.

That got me thinking, so I googled
What are the dimensions of a stick of dynamite

Description: It is usually sold in the form of a stick 20 centimetres (roughly 8 inches) long and 2.5 centimetres (1 inch) in diameter

Pretty much the same size as a penis, so should we expect internal examinations any time soon....
