Been better to have butchered the animal and just hauled the meat in with a boat.

Horses serve no purpose anymore as no one works them except a few up in northern washington state for light lodgepole logging.
Other than that all they do is stand and eat hay and cost much money per year in vets and maint.

Damn few, we used to keep up 4 teams in winter for stock feeding and work 15 teams during haying, plus saddle horses for working cattle, but now there are pobly more wild mustangs in Oregon and Nevada that all the actual working horses in the USA, I do not know about Australia, but dirt bikes and ATV's have about taken over the jobs of horses and do it easier, faster and cheaper than a saddle horse.

Still use a few at home too and I have friends in Yreka that have over 9000 acres of hill and meadow cattle ranch and they do use a few horses during roundup, but mostly ATV, and FWD.
Just takes 2 to run the ranch and put up the hay now days where it used to take 6 or 8 teamsters and another 6 or 8 hands to put up the hay and do the thrashing and then a couple for feeding in winter, now is done with machines and 1 man on that machine.
No hand work no more,, man with a pitchfork ain't going to handle hay bales that weigh 1000 kilo each.

All those pretty ladies in Thailand and you're desperate for some man on man action? You're a helluva lot more screwed up than I first suspected.
