'One killed' in Florida shooting

At least one person has been killed and seven others injured in a shooting at an office building in Orlando, officials say. The shooting took place on the fourth floor of the Gateway Center building at around 1130 local time (1630 GMT).
The attacker is still on the loose. The building was ordered to be locked down as officers began a floor-by-floor evacuation, the Associated Press says.
Dozens of ambulances, police cars and fire engines are reportedly on scene.
US TV network ABC News says FBI agents have also been despatched.

Two Confirmed Dead In Florida Office Shooting

At least two people have been killed and several others injured in a shooting incident at an office building in Florida.

Police surrounded the Legions Place complex in central Orlando as officers began a floor-by-floor evacuation.
Local reports said bodies were found on the 12th and 8th floor of the 16-floor building. Deputy fire chief Mike Droege said the gunman had not been found.
"The building is not secure now," he said. "It's still unfolding."
Seven people were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Centre.

Orlando police hunt office gunman

Police in the US city of Orlando are hunting a gunman who opened fire in an office building, wounding at least eight people. Orlando police identified the gunman as Jason Rodriguez, 40, who used to work there. Spokeswoman Barbara Jones said he was "armed and dangerous".
The attack took place on the fourth floor of the Gateway Center building at around 1130 local time (1630 GMT).
It comes a day after a gunman killed 13 people at an army base in Texas.
Officials said the suspected Florida gunman was wearing a light blue polo shirt and jeans.
"A Swat [Special Weapons and Tactics] team is on scene, and we're still trying to secure various structures around the area to be sure that the shooter is not still in this immediate area," Sgt Jones said.
Panicked office workers rushed out of the building, although AP news agency said some had barricaded themselves inside.
Local television broadcasts showed a police helicopter hovering over the scene, as dozens of police cars blocked off streets in the surrounding area.

If more workers were allowed to pack a hand gun with thier lunch box they could defend themselves against these kind of gun nutters.

Also could be a decisive way to end office arguments and feuds.

Great idea! Everyone packs a piece and if one goes mad they can start a massive fire fight. I'd like to see more people wear those long leather coats that you swing to one side revealing a pump action rifle that you can blast away with. Pow Pow Pow!

Cool.

That would make those pesky Mussies think twice about killing innocents.
