| I heard part of radio interview on radio five live in the uk. I believe it was on ITN News as well. but it seems funny that when these things happen somebody or other is having an exercise or something. As I said before i'm no weird beard but some things should be questioned.

The conspiracy theories don't stand up very well to questions. Sure there are strange things about 9/11 but most of the conspiracy theories are stranger and make a lot of claims with little evidence. | ||

| ^ Wouldn't it make more sense for you three above to consider what I (and others above) have raised, and counter the facts - rather than dismiss the general 'theory'? The weakest link in the chain is not the 'conspiracy theorists' - it's the many, many, elementary questions that remain un-addressed. Scoffing, ridiculing, sneering is the response of a nodding-donkey (for you roughnecks out there).. I'd buy the single-JFK-gunman theory before I believe the official line of 9-11 - anyday. As for Dianna - well...that another story.

| The PM link offers good explanation for everything, even WTC7. I'd be interested in how the govt was so quick to find the terrorists passport amongst the rubble and the flight manual in the parked car at the airport. There's some weird stuff sure, but doesn't seem to be any grand conspiracy, maybe just ppl trying to cover their failures and take advantage of circumstances. It's surprising how ppl are so skeptical of the official story, yet don't question claims that 19 of the terrorists are alive and well paid. |

You see - this is the general problem - you've put your finger on it. The fact is there are many theories that are truly whako - aliens did it, the Jews did it, whatever - but that doesn't mean it's ALL whako. Get it? |

| Yes, but none of the theories stands up to the same scrutiny they apply to the official explanation. Maybe weird stuff went on, but that doesn't mean there's a grand plan. Alex Jones is a weirdo who, like many others, has learned to make a living of 'the conspiracy'. |

| Thailand Travel Forum | ^ It's useless to try to reason with conspiracy nutjobs, smithson. It's like there's always a grand plan to take over all the oil, gold, planet etc. Heh...for example, even after all these years the Warren Commission findings on JFK's death still the litmus by which to measure. No second gunman, no Castro involvement and on & on but don't try and convince someone who refuses to believe simply because there's got to be a conspiracy!

| papers always dredge up these theories when news is slack/ it's an ADVERTISEMENT, numbskull. It's got nothing to do with the editorial department of the newspaper. If I want to spend 100 grand taking an ad out that says the moon is made of green cheese in big writing in just about any publication in the world, then whoever's in charge of the advertising department will be more than happy to take the money. It doesn't mean they agree with me. of course it makes the newspaper look kind of ridiculous, and if the Independent wasn't about to go to the wall, and rather had a healthy financial outlook, then they might have thought twice about accepting it. as for the conspiracy theorists, I can't say I'm all that surprised that judging from this thread, quite a lot of them seem to have washed up in Thailand. The place seems to attract total imbeciles like moths to a flame. why don't those of you who are so smart that you can see behind the official story take a look at these conspiracy theories also 1. Thor is responsible for lightning. 2. Intelligent design is responsible for life on Earth, and Aliens are responsible for the human genome. 4. Santa Claus was behind the red-and-white choo-choo you got when you were three. 5. Muhammad was a real swell dude and god actually talked to him. |

| There is a lot of evidence out there that suggests 9/11 needs an independent investigation. There are many theories and many don't hold water but people need to start believing something just ain't right about that day and our governments. | ^The problem with the claims and counter claims is it just goes on and gets real blurry. I find the way those building collapsed a bit funny, but I'm no expert and plenty who are offer reasonable sounding explanations. What does seem strange is how quick they cleaned up the site. Considering it was a massive crime scene it should have been gone thru tooth and comb by forensics. Instead they cleared all the rubble and sold asap to China as scrap. I've heard this in itself was illegal. The victims families and others were very unhappy with the official report. There's a lot left out, such as WTC7 and the govt spent much more investigating Clinton's extracurricular activities. The there's the rush to point the finger, try finding a reference to Al Quadea prior to 911. |

The blackbox in the Merc went also missed and was tempered with when they mysteriously recovered it. Investigating officers were fuming. French special agents were on the scene within minutes of the accident, before the police. This happened at 6am. Quote:
