    Thousands of Brits arrested abroad

The Foreign Office has released its annual British Behaviour Abroad report which reveals almost 7,000 Britons were detained overseas last year.

There are currently 22 British nationals facing capital charges for drugs worldwide.

For the period from April 2008 to March 2009, the figures show more were arrested or taken to hospital in Spain than in any other country.

But as a proportion of the number of visitors, Britons were most likely to be arrested in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and most likely to need hospital treatment in Thailand.

Foreign Office Minister Chris Bryant said: "The message is clear - have a great time while you're away, but make the necessary preparations before you go."

"Drink is also a major factor in the number of British people getting into trouble on holiday or needing hospital treatment."

    This is news?

Wonder how many are born British, how many like the Nigerian born Samantha the drug smuggler are just getting a passport for the benefits? British includes the scum of the earth these days, almost anyone who can come up with any old story can claim asylum and get a passport in a few years.

I am sure that other people from other countries are also winding up in police stations and hospitals also. So, was it a slow news day or something that got this unimportant figure into the news media ?

To answer a question with a question: are you saying that because your one example is a darkie then they all are?

Because I gotta tell ya, in my experience / empirical evidence it's the thick, uneducated, bigoted, drunken chavs that cause the most issues abroad.

It's all for the common good. You pay for the indiscretions of others. You pay for their idiocy because your countrymen demand it. Nanny takes care of everything. Perhaps if these hideous creatures knew there would be nobody rushing to their aid when they get jailed or hospitalized, they might exhibit a little more personal responsibility.

    But I doubt it.

It's very trendy, and makes people feel a bit superior to refer to the uk working class as 'chavs'. Usually such people don't seem bothered about the upper class twits who roam the world, get just as drunk and are often more objectionable than the 'chavs' . Not to metion the disgusting middle class female slappers who holiday around the worlds beaches picking up the locals, only to dump them when they get bored. Did you see the two middle class female UK brats arrested in Brazil for fraud, they had law degrees so could not fit your profile of ' thick, uneducated, bigoted, drunken chavs' could they?

Nope. Never. Plus, that would hardly interest the Brutish Foreign Office (get it? Brutish!)

    I don't need a table or spreadsheet.

Round the bastards up and put 'em on one of those Rohingya boats and cut 'em loose a few hundred miles out.

7,003, 2 died of alcohol poisoning in the airport toilets and one choked to death after her faux gold chains got tangled up in her nose piercings.
