    Bin Laden's Son Believed Dead

U.S. officials believe Usama bin Laden's son Saad bin Laden was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Pakistan.

Sources confirmed to FOX News news first reported at NPR.org, that officials believe the younger bin Laden was killed by missiles fired by a U.S. Predator drone earlier this year.
National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell told NPR that Saad bin Laden reportedly traveled to Pakistan last year after spending several years under house arrest in Iran.
It isn't possible to tell for sure whether he was killed, since a body hasn't been recovered, preventing DNA tests, a senior U.S. counterterrorism official told NPR. An NPR source estimated the chance Saad bin Laden is dead at "80 to 85 percent."
Saad bin Laden was involved in Al Qaeda but wasn't a leader in the terror organization, headed by his father.
"We make a big deal out of him because of his last name," NPR quoted its source as saying.

Guess I'm just not that patriotic. I would be much more happy to read about a dead member of the Bush family. In fact, it would make my whole day!

Sounds more like a revenge killing for political reasons than a strategic strike.

Plenty more of the Bin Laden family left in Saudi Arabia. Many with financial ties to USA.

Pushing the drone argument with a bit of spin to get the public at home wound up me thinks. Bodybags cost votes.

Not exactly my first choice, but those would work. It is justice when bad things happen to bad people.

I'm American, was a lawyer in the States, and I watched the Bush Government under the so called "Patriot Act" destroy many legal protections and privacy rights for just plain normal people, which had been in effect since our countries inception. Yes, I truly hate the man and everyone like him, but it's an educated hatred. Propaganda and "people control" being the science they are, I doubt if the Bin Ladens are any more real than Yosemite Sam and the Coyote. "They're out to get you and you need me to protect you" was the stupidity of the McCarthy area and it was repeated in textbook fashion under Bush...............SORRY MY MISTAKE, NEXT TIME I WRITE SOMETHING NASTY I'LL EXPLAIN IT BETTER.
