I have more worries about riding a bus in Thailand than I ever had living by Trojan and they have a nice park there for a place for the cooling ponds.
Nuke is the only way to go as far as I can see because modern life requires mass amounts of electricity, a lot comes from hydro, but it fucks things up after so many years. it is clean but dams do some damage,, but it is better than steam plants run on fossil fuels.

Of course, some places like China find more sinister reasons to build dams.

I would say that today the cleanest power there is is Hydro, they say that dams will silt up, and I do believe that they will eventually do so, but I have worked on a lot of dams in Oregon and the oldest one on the columbia river is Bonneville and it has been making a lot of electricity for damn near 100 years and we put a second power house on it in the 70s and I worked there a number of times when I was in that part of the world as they always needed heavy construction hands and it shows no signs of silting.
But the only thing wrong with nuke is the disposal of the old fuel, but it can be worked out and thats what I would say should be the power of the future., not more steam plants to burn coal or oil.
Wind power and solar are only hit and miss things and will never fill the total bill.

I think you will find the power of the future will probably be Antimatter, made up of antiparticles that have the same mass as ordinary matter but with opposite atomic properties known as spin and charge. When the opposed particles meet, they annihilate each other and release tremendous amounts of energy as dictated by Einstein's famous equation, E=mc2.

But hey, you said I'm just a stupid cocksucking slope head asshole who travels on a British Passport but can never be British no matter how much I pay, so what would I know?
