If I remember correctly they also done a load of .22 and .380 ak47s, I assume the .22s were for young Americans to help them grow up to be proper white-power yank spree-killers
.22 AK. How ridiculous.
What can you do with a slug gun these days?
Kennedy was killed with a .22, suppose they were for vermin shooting or something, a load went to the UK and were being punted round the dealers, semi auto, don't know if anybody bought any, this was around 20 years ago.
A high velocity bullet, daresay. No way an AK.Originally Posted by dirtydog

N'est ce pas?
I remember another gun that done the rounds, it was based on the M16 and was a .22 shotshell, no idea what that could be used for, might kill a moth or a butterfly if you got enough shots off
The revolving cylinder thing, think there must be some vids on youtube of that beast.
Sten guns were absolute pieces of shite... Stamped metal and riveted together... They would start to fall apart after a few thousand rounds, not to mention you can't hit the broad side of a barn with one... Better to bludgeon your enemy to death with it...
The AK-47 is absolutely the best assault rifle ever produced... Most of the communist block nations manufactured AK's with subtle variations... Beat it, pound it, use it as a hammer, then slip in a clip and kill the imperialist dogs with it...
As far as the OP, where are the pics of the constabulary pointing at the dead body of the Aussie cvnt???
Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Dunno, but I was surprised at the Martini Henry's still there.Originally Posted by DrB0b

5.5 is .22, or 5.56 to be more exact I think in English, euro is slightly smaller, just a slight tighter fit.
Snipers often like .22 for accuracy at range. The higher the Bore, the less reliable the accuracy- and with greater range this hyperbolates. Physics.
Caipiche? Thare are enuff examples out there.
Thinking about it, I think we and Americans would call it .22 for rimfire, but Euros would call it 6.5mm, but the boxes of ammo have both on them if they are from Europe, but we are refering to bullet size where the euros refer to cartridge size.
But thinking about it why would it only be done on that particular bullet and cartridge size when everything else is the same across the world, damn sure I can't remember.
One of my favourite guns/rifles when I was growing up was a single shot Thompson Contender.
It had interchangeable barrels and an interchangeable stock/hand gun set up. It was great fun.
If I remember correctly I had the .22, 30-30 and 45 barrels to go with it so if you wanted to play with the possible combinations you could have a .45mm on a shoulder stock with a sight. Brilliant.
Didn't hold a patch though on my semi automatic Ruger Mini 14. That thing was a blast. I had to get rid of it when Hungerford went on a killing spree in the U.K and the government changed all the gun laws. I managed to swap the Mini 14 and my walking stick gun for a pistol grip pump action 12 gauge shot gun. Only fired it a couple of times though because I was only young and the bloody thing nearly broke my wrist when I fired it.
Sorry, just googled it and the dude wasn't called Hungerford he was called Michael Robert Ryan and the town where he did the masacre was called Hungerford.
