    When the Beatles first started John was the influential head of the band and wrote the best songs IMO.

    When John got disinterested with the band Paul took over the reigns and I must admit his songs, particularly after Rubber Soul made the Beatles into the legendary band that they become.

    The Vatican has forgiven a long time dead singer for comments he made over four decades ago? Well that's mighty big of them. That's what I love about the Church, the sense of priorities.

    They'll be forgiving themselves for centuries of persecution, backwardness and pedophilia next.
