Man 'had sex with girl in Perth, mum made video'
A MOTHER is alleged to have helped make a video of a 29-year-old man having sex with her 13-year-old daughter.
The man has been charged with more than 150 counts of distributing child pornography and having sex with an underage girl and was granted bail today.
He appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court today, accused of having sex with the 13-year-old and recording the acts.
Police allege the girl's mother, 46, was also involved in the offences and will appear in court next week.
The crimes came to light when early last month police say they received a complaint from another woman who said she was being stalked on the internet.
"An unknown person was sending her emails that contained naked pictures of herself in the shower," Sgt Greg Lambert said.
"The woman was threatened that the pictures would be posted on the web if she reported the matter."
The man was identified and a computer was seized by police during a search of his home.
Police allege that during a search of the computer a homemade video recording that showed the 29-year-old Armadale man and the 46-year-old Hillman woman engaging in sex with her 13-year-old daughter was found.
The man was charged yesterday with 157 counts in total, including unlawfully installing and using an optical surveillance device, encouraging a child to engage in sexual behaviour, six counts of indecently dealing with a child under 16, six counts of indecently recording a child, knowingly sexually penetrating a child, indecently recording a child under 16 and supplying and distributing child pornography.
Sgt Lambert said the man was a casual acquaintance of the girl's mother.
The girl's mother was charged with encouraging a child who is a lineal relative to engage in sexual behaviour, three counts of indecently dealing with a child who is a lineal relative, six counts of indecently dealing with a child under 16, six counts of indecently recording a child who is a lineal relative, knowingly sexually penetrating a child who is a lineal relative, indecently recording a child under 16 and distributing child pornography.
Magistrate Peter Malone today granted the man bail, but warned him "under no circumstances" to go anywhere near any of the people involved.
He said while he could choose to remain good friends with the woman, no contact could be made with her.
The girl's mother will appear in court next week.
