Yeah, that was my first impression as well.

My second thought was whether attendance is high because the instructor seems to be a (young-ish) +- (fresh face) lady.

But, anything to keep the employees happy and productive.

They should expand these courses to include other professions as well.
Does it teach them that some folks are gay, or maybe those pervs don't exist in Aussie-land, heck no, the hoser comes from there, don't he?

My son in law works at that mine, but I couldn't see his face in the photo in the SMH.

I think it is because the mines have to spend a certain amount on training and employee courses and I suppose they are running out of material.

People who are in training consultancies are making a fortune providing all this stuff, just because the mines have to spend a certain amount every year.
