    Interesting (and most surprising?) discovery

    Unfiltered cigarettes are most deadly

There's no such thing as a safe cigarette, but unfiltered cigarettes are even more likely to kill you, a new study finds.

People who smoke unfiltered cigarettes have double the risk of lung cancer death that other smokers do. And smoking unfiltered cigs was also linked to a 30% higher risk of dying from any cause

"All cigarettes are bad. They all increase the risk for lung cancer and the risk of dying from lung cancer, but unfiltered cigarettes have the highest risk of any type of cigarette," said study author Dr. Nina Thomas. She is a fellow in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston.

filters is where they put a lot of chemicals that kill people,

so technically, no filter is preferable

Welcome to the 1970s, Klondyke. Post a picture of your time machine, please. It should be more interesting and newsworthy than the OP article.

oh cyrille, you stupid irrelevant coward, try to educate yourself a bit. Actually some studies against tobacos were claiming it was safer to go with no filter.

So here you go, you silly English man, do your own research, instead of following News headlines blindly like you always do

The only surprising thing is that you would expect any of klunkers threads to be interesting.

Really - like dying in a plane crash? How bizarre...

I smoke a cigarette once every 2 months.

I always use papers and rolling tobacco as they taste much nicer.

A 25g pack of tobacco lasts me about 3 or 4 years.

I was cycling to the beach on Australia day this year when I passed 2 very loud drunk celebrants wearing flags and staggering through the cycling/footpath tunnel under the highway smoking cigarettes. When I got to the end of the tunnel I saw a smokes pack on the ground so I aimed my front wheel at it. But as I went over it it was firm and full of cigarettes and did not crush under the wheel as expected.

Obviously the bogan besties had just dropped them. A full 25 pack with 2 missing. Cost in aussie about $35

I was about to turn the bike round and catch them up to give them back when I suddenly thought 'fuck those stinky noisy bogans, I will not bother'

I kept the ciggies and tried one on my next scheduled cigarette break.

It was decades since I had smoked a factory cigarette and could not believe how tasteless they were. I could barely even tell that I was inhaling smoke.

So fuck gay factory cigarettes and roll your own with no filter.

I now have a 25 pack of bogan factory cigs with 22 cigarettes left.

Put them up for sale on ebay or on an auction website. Some dim fucker will buy them.
